Why Volunteer

A Heart For Animals is an all-volunteer organization. We rely solely on our volunteers to help us save the lives of animals. We are looking for help with events, fundraising, marketing, fostering, and much, much more!

Whether you love animals and want to donate your time, or are in transition and want to develop skills for your resume, volunteering for AFHA is a great decision!

Volunteers must be at least 10 years of age. Minors, under the age of 18 years, must be accompanied by an adult 21 years of age or older. Only 1 minor per Adult, allowed at one time.

How To Volunteer

STEP 1

Complete the online volunteer application below. Please note that in order to submit your application, you MUST fill in all fields denoted by an asterisk. You will not be able to submit the form until all required fields are filled out!

STEP 2

Download, read, and sign both the waiver of liability and transport policy, then email to [email protected]. To download a PDF, right click on the page and select “save as”.
